1999) Hakim Mohammed Said the great herbalist, physician, scholar and researcher fell to an assassin's bullet on October 17 1998. He is credited for promoting the Tib-e-Mashraq (Eastern Medicine). His untiring efforts led WHO to accept it as an Alternate Medicine. His Madinat al-Hikmah- the city of education, science and culture is a living symbol of all he stood for. |
