Centenary Celebrations of
Edwardes College, Peshawar

Having missionary foundation, Edwardes College was established in 1900 with the efforts of Sir Herbert Edwardes Commissioner of Peshawar. The first class consisted of about 30 students which rose to mere 42 after start of BA classes in 1913. The new college building was inaugurated in 1910. The college has the honour of being visited by the founder of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali jinnah thrice. For the last one hundred years the college has produced men of integrity, intellect, loyalty and honour.
