8. Joined Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) in 1988. Was one of the close associates of Late Nawab Akbar Bughti and also Central Finance Secretary & Central Member of CC (Center Committee).
   
   
9. On 05th December 2007, Joined P.P.P reposing trust in Late P.P.P Chairperson Mohterma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Nawab Lashkari Raeesani.
   
   
10. Elected member National Assembly of Pakistan on P.P.P ticket securing 41,776 votes.
    
    
11. On the 11th Rabi-ul-Awal 1432 (Hijri) became the Federal Minister for Postal Services. Prior to this, visited Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
