Electronic Money Order (EMO) Two types ( i. Post to Post ii. Post to Door) of money transfer at the blink of the eyes through Computer Post to Post has been started since 10th September, 2012 and Post to Door will be started soon. Within five to ten minutes payment at GPO's counter Maximum value of a single EMO up to Rs.1,00,000/ Reciever can collect the emo from any GPO by providing pre-requistes
Urgent Mail Service Counter Collection (UMS-CC) UMS-CC will be launched from 15th December, 2012 Picking up by reciever only and only from GPO specified counter Collection timing from 0900am to 0830pm Same rate as normal UMS Fast and reliable At all 83 GPOs throughout the country
Fax Money Order (FMO) Transmission of FMO at the blink of the eyes through fax machines Same day payment at the doorsteps of the payee up to Rs. 10,000/- Maximum value of a single FMO up to Rs.50,000/ for selected cities A unique facility for same day remittance and payment of money over long distance at doorstep of the payee The service links 48 destinations of the country.
